Terms and Conditions of booking 

 

Payment must be received in order for the booking to be confirmed.  An invoice will be sent for those being sponsored by employers.

 

Cancellations/refunds: 

Cancellation of a booking or a request for a transfer to a later date, must be notified to LSP in writing, within the 4 weeks of the start date of the course.

  • - 100% of the fee if the cancellation is notified 4 weeks or more prior to the starting date of the       
  •    course.
  • - No refund if notification of cancellation is given less than 4 weeks prior to the starting date of the 
  •    course.
  • - Refunds cannot be issued once a course has been attended. 

 

Sponsored delegates: Payments for those being sponsored must be made according to the payment terms on the invoice. Sponsors are bound to pay fees for the sponsored delegate(s), including in the event of a delegate leaving employment. The sponsors retain the full responsibility of ensuring fees are settled in full. 

Replacement of certificates: a re-issue fee of £100 is charged for replacement certificates. This fee also applies in the event that the original certificate was sent to a previous address as provided by the delegate.

 

Disruptive behaviour:  We encourage a warm, inviting learning environment, that welcomes people in a secure and nurturing envionment. Anyone deemed not complying with this code of behaviour will be asked to terminate their training.

LSP reserves the right to cancel a course at any time or change dates and courses are run depending on demand. LSP will attempt to re-schedule at a later date or offer a full refund. LSP does not accept any liability for any costs that may be incurred. Under no circumstance will compensation be payable or shall LSP be liable for any loss of profit.

Copyrights:

Copyright and all intellectual property rights for all Course Materials shall remain the property of LSP or the trading partner of LSP responsible for developing that course; except where materials development has been paid for by the client.

The Customer agrees not to reproduce, sell, hire or copy Course Materials (in whole or in part) and not to use such materials except for the purposes of post course or personal reference.

Force Majeure:

LSP shall not be in breach of this contract if the provision of its services are delayed, cancelled or reduced through any circumstances beyond its reasonable control including any act of God ( including but not limited to fire, flood, earthquake, storm, snow, hurricane or other natural disaster) sickness, war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, hostilities ( regardless of whether war is declared) civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power or confiscation, terrorist activities, nationalisation, government sanction, blockage, embargo, labour dispute, strike, lockout or interruption or failure of electricity or telephone service.

Delegates must ensure they can attend the training course which they are scheduled to attend. LSP will not be held liable, financially or actually, for their non-attendance, whatsoever the reason may be.

Limits of Liability:

LSP will not accept liability for death or personal injury.

LSP will not be liable for indirect, special or consequential loss (including loss of anticipated profit, travel and accommodation costsm or data), howsoever arising, even if it has been advised of such potential loss

Food:

LSP provides refreshments and lunch which may contain allergens. If you have a food allergy or special dietary requirement, please inform a member of LSP staff.

Our meal providers handle all allergens in their kitchen and cannot 100% guarantee their dishes are allergen-free. It is the delegates responsibility to check allergen information, and LSP is able to provide delegates with an ingredient list for each menu item upon request. 

LSP takes no responsibility, legal or otherwise, for any adverse reaction that a delegate may have after eating food on our premises.
